Kippa is a fast-growing finance management startup for micro-merchants in Africa.

Kippa Payments is the second product to join Kippa’s line of financial solutions after launching its bookkeeping application software.

The company's new payment solution intends to help Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs) in Africa by simplifying money transfers, bill payments and invoicing.

“Kippa Payments will also enable us to have a deeper understanding of our customers through transactional data, so that we can offer more tailored and bespoke products over time, unlocking deeper value within the Kippa ecosystem alongside our existing solutions.”
Jephtah Chidozie-Uche, Co-Founder & CTO of Kippa.

Kippa currently serves SMEs across Nigeria however the app is available for any business in the region.

Through the app, small business owners can keep track of their daily income and expense transactions, create invoices and receipts and manage business inventory.

According to Kippa, its debtors' tracker and automated reminders feature help merchants recover their debts three times faster.

Moreover, informal business owners in Nigeria can register their business at a low cost within 72 hours since the app provides business registration and free legal consultation services.

The launch of the new payment solution comes five months after they secured a $3.2 million pre-seed funding.
